Welcome! I’m Leticia, the founder of DAB LAB. My painting exploration led me to create this canvas pad for other artists who find their best work is created without any pressure - within their sketch pads.  

I found myself painting concepts on paper only to find the transition onto a large framed canvas challenging. The surface texture was different and even though I had a clear direction the canvas felt daunting. 

I needed to know how that first stroke would look without the stress of getting it right first time, and my DAB LAB canvas pad gave me a way to ease that pressure. I could try colour combinations, test brushes and techniques on the real canvas texture immediately before moving to my framed canvas.

I hope you find this book is as much fun for you as it was for me to create it and look forward to seeing what you create.
